WINNEBAGO buys NEWMAR? Good/Bad?

This is probably better for Winnebago? Inject a more diverse premium product in their Diesel pusher lineup?

Really does make one wonder.

Wonder if this was in the works as WGO dropped the Tour/Ellipse models from the lineup? Have not heard much of Country Coach after the initial flurry when they bought it and started servicing WGO products at that location.

Going to be much angst and wringing of hands in the Newmar community for a while. Matt Miller is still the head of Newmar so suspect very little will change.

A few years ago Newmar was producing 40 units a week and WGO 200. If they combined the purchasing for both it should reduce the input costs slightly.
