Winnebago Hyrdaulic Brake
I need some help. I am about to purchase a class A Winnebago Vista 35 f. the brakes are Hydraulic w/ABS. When I push down on the brake peddle hard, the break are not causing the 35f to nose and stop. Like a gliding stop. Is that normal?

If I read your post correctly, you are saying the motorhome does not stop quickly when you press down hard on the brake pedal. It' gliding to a stop rather than making a hard stop. No, that's not normal. The ABS is supposed to keep the brakes from locking, but it should still be a hard stop.
However, if you're not used to driving a big vehicle like a motorhome, keep in mind it will never stop as quickly as a car.

It would help some to know what chassis that Winnebago is riding on, but there should be enough brake power to throw things forward in an emergency stop no matter who made the chassis. With ABS you should not be able to slide the wheels, but you should be able to get very close to that.
A heavy motorhome does take significantly farther to get stopped, but the brakes should be able to get into the ABS avoidance of locking. You should be able to feel the ABS in the brake pedal if you are on them hard enough.

Winneabgo
It has a ford V10 engine. How many feet should it take to stop at 62 miles per hour and pushing down on brakes.

How long has the RV been sitting? Rust on the rotors can make brakes not as effective. Also the brake pads or rotors could be glazed from heavy, hot, braking. If you are buying from a dealer, ask that the brakes be bled and new fluid put in. Have a mechanic inspect the vehicle for you, or test drive it to a Ford dealer that will work on or inspect it for you. If it's got a Ford V-10, it's on a Ford F-53 chassis. An inspection will cost less than having to repair later.
Can't really answer the stopping distance question, as has been said it won't stop like a sports car, but it should react much better than you report. Stopping distance would also be affected by how much gear and liquids you have aboard.

Do you know how far you have to drive to get off the rust? Is that a couple of miles or more? They drove the RV from Iowa to Cincinnati Oh. Could have heated up the brakes.

That should have polished the rotors. Brakes probably need fluid replacement/bleeding.

f53-hydromax-brakes-185034
do a search on this brake system you now have. Bottom line the HydroMax-brakes feel like driving without power brakes, takes awhile to get use to. i wish they kept the hydro-boost on the 20500 to 26000 lbs. units.you have to drive more carefully now after 8000 miles on our unit i am beginning to fell more comfortable. time will make it better
