Winnebago Tour front door

The "stay" that holds the front door open in the wind failed. The door now just swings freely. Factory sent parts for an "easy fix"---two small pieces, each about 1 inch long, a purple plastic sleeve that a d shaped piece of metal fits into. I have no clue where it is supposed to go. I took off the articulated arm that stop the door from opening too far but there is nothing there. The whole top of the door is smooth metal so not there either. Help????

Your help should come from the factory that sent the parts without a diagram. Or a Winnebago dealer. Sad that someone would send something and let the customer figure it out for themselves
