[QUOTE=SuperGewl;4454403]Personally, after looking at the quality between the various models I would go with the Winnebago.
I agree with SuperGewl, I have owned a winnie, and now have my 35k Terra and can say that the hidden build quality of winnebago is far better. Don't get me wrong, I love my Fleetwood Terra, and have no intention of parting with it, especially after spending the last 5 years upgrading all the hidden build issues, and general lack of attention to detail on Fleetwoods part. Winnebago uses the standard plastic showers and sinks, which I personally don't care for,but do seem to last ok, but all the unseen construction of the coaches has more attention to detail, which is very, very important, especially to anyone who is not well versed in repairing anything and everything.
Fleetwood (Holiday Rambler) uses nice fiberglass shower assembly's ,corian counter tops, etc and the 35k floor plan is awesome, but don't pull any drawers out and look behind or under them as it will make you cringe. Before retiring,I worked for myself in the field for 26 years so most items on my coach, 86 items, to be exact, were just ho-hum to me to straighten out before they became a problem in the future, but for the average motorhome buyer would not be known about until they caused a problem. I know some will say well my Terra is not a Bounder or a Southwind or a Holiday Rambler but hidden build quality and lack of attention to detail, coming out of the same builder is the same. In closing, I also must say that many items that I have changed/repaired were considered by me to be preventative measures that no one in their right mind would even consider doing, but that's how I roll.... Hope this helps.
