Unhappy Winnebago Warrior won't start

I had let my motorhome sit too long without running the motor, so I charged the battery and put in new deep cycle battery. Motor started up first try, so I ran it a few minutes and shut it off. I tried to start it again after a couple of minutes and got no response-battery dash indicator shows no battery charge, radio and horn won't work. Any ideas?

Thank you,
