Yes the mattress does bunch up against the dresser when the slide is in but flattens back out with the slide out. No big deal and doesn't hurt a thing.
Yes, but he was wanting to put a 80"mattress in place of the standard mattress. 5" would make a huge difference. Ours does not bunch up, but just touches. We sleep on it all the time with the slide in at Wal-Mart. I am still not sure what length I have after looking at my photo, but will actually measure it when I get it back.

If my numbers are correct a Regular Queen is 80" long and so is a King. A short Queen is 74" long. A King however is 76" wide and a Queen is 60" wide. The ideal fit would be a 66" wide by 74" long mattress. In other words an extra wide Short Queen.
I will measure mine to give you better data tomorrow.

I found a neat site that has a video of the 2004 33V. It is a deal right down the street from the Winnie factory. We stopped at it several years ago. It also has 3 virtual tours and about 60 photos of the coach.

In that video, he states that the bed is 60 x 75 inches!

I think that settles it. The overlap looks the same as mine. There were a few things different in mine. I have a fold down seat in the shower and there is a neat shelf in the electrical cord compartment. That might be owner done. Everything else looks exactly the same.
