Winterizing an R-Vision Stratus Motorhome

We have just purchased a 2002 R-Vision Stratus 30ft Motorhome. We were preparing to winterize the unit with RV Antifreeze when I discovered that I can't find the location to inject the Antifreeze into the lines. I had another motorhome and a trailer and both of them had filler valves next to the water pump. I can't find any way to access the waterpump in this unit. Does anyone have any information about winterizing Stratus motorhomes?

Remove the line on the suction side or the same side as the wires and attach a hose there and turn the pump on it is a 1/2 NPT fitting needed to hook the hose or tubing too

Thanks Mark. I'm having a hard time gaining access to the pump. It's under the head of the bed. I think I can get to it by removing some woodwork but you would think it would not be designed to be that difficult to get to. I will have to do some tracking of water lines.

You were right on Mark. I torn the bed frame off and found the water pump. There was no winterizing valve or hose installed. I did notice that the fresh water tank has several gallons of red antifreeze in it. I am guessing that the prior owners just put the antifreeze in the tank and then ran it through the system. Since I have it dis-assembled, I am going to check at my RV Supply Store and get valve kit to install. I don't want to tear the bed apart each winter. Can't believe R-Vision didn't include it. Thanks again for the help!!

Your welcome - That sounds like what they did if you want to use the fresh water tank you will have to flush it out good. when you do your plumbing make easy to get to so it won't be such a pain
