Wireless

Currently using a TPMS system (10 sensors including toad) and thinking of getting a wireless braking indicator for my Blue OX Apollo braking system. Would like to know if my brakes are being applied or if for some reason they are not releasing. My concern is the RF interference between these two systems. Is anyone using both of these in concert and if so are you having any false indicators from either system? Unable to get any idea as to what frequency either of these products are using.

Thanks
Don

Here's a thought. The AirForce One system we use has a LED light that is placed on the dash board and illuminates when vehicle brakes are applied. You monitor it via your back up camera. It was hard to see so I fabricated a larger, brighter one using a red LED light bar I bought at a RV show. I mounted it on a pad cut from a cheap door mat from HD. It has a two prong plug so it can eaasily disconnected and stowed. You can splice into your brake light wiring and accomplish the same thing for around $20 total.

Thanks Jonny, I will give that a try. Thought about running a wire to a LED on the MH dash but wasn't crazy about punching more holes in the MH than necessary. The reason I want to do something is that in talking with a RV'r he told me he burned up his toad. The breakaway plug came out and locked his brakes up on the toad. He didn't notice the extra drag on his MH engine and the front end of his toad evenually caught fire do to the hot brakes and disc. The tires then caught fire and the rest is history.
