wiring on drivers seat coming apart

we have 2012 allegro class a rv. we had to have the drivers seat replaced and after that everytime we turn the chair around or sometimes when driving down the road i go to adjust the chair and the wires have come apart so we have to pull over and fix them. is it normal to have the wires keep coming apart and should we be able to see the wires or should they have a plug on both ends of the wiring? you can see the bare wires and you have to try and fit them into the end of a plug on the otherside?
thanks

I would think there should be plugs.

Our FlexSteel ones have locking plugs on both of them. So far the only time they've come apart is when I've taken them apart to remove the chair from the base to get new recliner/rockers in or the Splendide W/D
