wiring, turn signals

newmar dutch star 01 Spartan chassic

Just one day when out to take it out and no turn signals. flashers work checked front fuse panel and rear fuse panel by batteries. all is good tested relays, flasher unit, bulbs.GOOD . all lights work on coach. tested at steering column and I get with a test light one connection coming out of the turn signal unit that flashes the test light when you turn it on right or left. but I have no power going in or out with the key on. Are all the wiring grounds to turn on the relays? I get power flashing when I turn on the flashers and I get power out on one of the connection when I turn the arm to the right or left turn signal. I should get one connection for the right and one for the left. not happening.
I'm at my end with this. I hate to buy a new turn signal unit and find out that wasnt it. but where do I go with it. any ideas are very welcome.

Thanks

My experience with my 04 Mt. Aire sounds just like your problem. Did everything. Turned out it has two flashers, one was laying out in the open, one was hide inside a big wiring bundle inside the dash, steering side. Like to have never found it. Let us know how it turns out.

That other flasher could outside/under windshield right or left of genny. Also check power panels @ left front area.

did you pin down your problem? I own a 2000 air stream 39 xl land yatch diesel pusher with the same problem. I have checked ...lights all work, emergency blinker works, flashers (replace both) fuses are all ok. I now have removed the the steering wheel cover on the column but have not removed and do not know how to remove or test.
advice appreciated

your way of explaining things is very very hard to understand but it sounds to me like your TS switch is wonky.DO the brake lites work ok?Try this, with key off and left signal on step on brakes and see if the left brake lite is on or off
should be off and then repeat with right side.If it shuts off each right and left brake lite then its most likely not the switch and maybe a ground or ?
