Wondering (washer & dryer)

When you order a new Classic 30 foot Airstream, can you have them put a washer & dryer hookup in the closet next to the shower? Can you also have them put a cabinet with a counter where the propane stove is? Have any of you done this? Those two changes could make this my choice. The only other thing that is disappointing to me is there isn't a front bedroom option. I would love to be able to back into a spot and see the waterfront while sitting at the table or sofa. I only saw that layout in the Eddie Bauer model.

Well, You are probably in the wrong forum as this is for Motorhomes...but having owned a 30ft Airstream I can say that the company itself may do this, though I think it unlikely. There are aftermarket modification businesses that are more likely to be able to accommodate you...however the weight of a washer/dryer may upset the balance of the trailer from side to side. As to the propane stove...are you saying you don't want one?
You might best be served talking to a dealer regarding your requests about a new one. You might also want to ask your questions at the AirForums site.

You will get better answers from the Airstream people. They know their product better than anyone here
