Wood floor refinishing

Our 20 yr old Mountain Aire has a wood floor in the kitchen. The urethane layer is chipping. I'd like to sand it lightly and put a new layer of something durable on top. Any suggestions on what to use?

I sanded my wood floor until it was smooth then I vacuumed and wiped it down to remove the dust debris and coated with a good name brand wood stain with a urethane in it! Looks great now 4 years old again. I used MinWax but you can use any good name brand.
