I looked at couple of Adventures of that age and they were nice. Ended up with a 2008 Latitude.

The past reviews I have read here are mostly great for these. Just wondering if you experienced class A folks are ditching these because of fear of finding repair shops while on the road.

That'll be the very least of your worries, with parts being numerous and available, next to forever
Also, if a mechanic can't work on a big block Chevy, then he's not much of a mechanic to begin with.
The W24 chassis with an Allison tranny is probably my favorite and was also excluded from the brake recall, which should have been done on every last one of the other W's, by now.

Hi Tropical,
Not sure about the fan shaft problem, no doubt a more experienced UFO owner will know :-)
Hi David,
If you get to test drive a UFO you will really like it.

I guess Gramps was the guy to talk to and don't know if he's still around or not.
Seems that they did find a solution though and for some reading on it here....

I will say Workhorse chassis was the best gas RV chassis ever built and there are many still on the road.
Now if your still interested in a Newmar you can use this link and the TSB link to find any info on a Newmar.
You didn't say what year so I will pick one 2006 Brochure -- Owners Guide
All the links below in my signature have answers for a Newmar.
Good luck in your search and do not forget the Classifieds up top of forums. Not a Scottsdale but a 2000 MA at a good price for starters.

The FCA problem on the UFO was resolved with a recall. I have 60,000 plus miles on mine since the recall was completed.
