Yup, at least in Michigan. You can have one ball type hitch.

While the chart shows Minnesota, the combination in the picture would not be legal. Minnesota's RV Triple tow law only allows a pickup towing a 5th wheel towing a trailer.

Recreational Vehicle Three – Vehicle Combination
(Pickup truck/fifth-wheel camper/trailer)
Recreational vehicle (RV): Minnesota allows an RV three-vehicle combination only if all of the following
conditions are met:
• Only a “fifth-wheel” coupling is allowed between the pickup truck and the middle vehicle;
• The second trailer may only haul watercraft, a motorcycle, a motorized bicycle, off-highway motorcycle,
ATV, snowmobile, motorized golf cart or equestrian equipment or supplies;
• The total combination of vehicles does not exceed 70 feet;
• The towing rating of the pickup truck is equal to or greater than the total weight of all vehicles being
towed;
• The trailer hitch assemblies, as well as the pickup truck hitch assembly, must conform to MN Statute
M.S. 169.82;
• The driver is at least 18 years of age; and
• No travel within the Twin Cities Metro area during weekday rush hour times: 6:00 am – 8:30 am and
3:30 pm – 6:00 pm.

Is that red truck being towed or is it just parked right behind the MH? When I look at the large image it almost looks like there is not hitch based on the shadows but perhaps it's just too small to see. Did the OP see the hitch or just take the picture from afar?

Someone mentioned towing capacities and I the Thor Class C's with v10's that we've been looking at can tow 8000lbs and a crew cab f150 is under 5000lbs. I'm not saying that is the unit in question, just that some gas units do have higher tow capacities.

You maybe on to something, I zoomed in and i don’t see a tow bar between the coach and the pickup. Pic is fairly low res when zoomed though

Not sure what you want me to read. I made a factual clarification statement that in Minnesota, the combination shown in the picture posted by the OP would not be legal in my home state and copied and pasted, verbatim, the MN law. Hopefully this would be helpful to anyone thinking about triple towing in MN to understand the full law there. It was certainly much more information and more valuable than a generic chart that give no details.

The second act could be is this a double tow or a triple tow? hasn’t been discussed in a while that I can remember.

I’ll start I vote for double tow since 2 items are being towed, the RV is the tower the others are the towee’s

Tennessee is in that list and the tow law is 5th wheel required on first trailer and over all length 65'.
