Xantrex inverter - invet/wet LED flashing

My Xantrex inverter has a blinking green LED status marked as "invert/wet."

My owners manual discusses all the LED status except for this one. Does anyone know if this is a normal condition or what this would mean if it is a fault status?

Thanks,

Robby

It would help to know the exact model of Xantrex you have....

Without more detailed knowledge, I would say if the invert light is blinking,
It means the inverter is in standby mode. Solid green usually means it is inverting.

The wet portion of the light is probably used while in setup, to define the charging
parameters of the type battery you have. Wet=flooded cell

I believe Robby has an Xantrex 458, yes "pasdad1" is correct. Link to manual, pg 31 has LED light status

Robby,
As a suggestion unplug the control cable at the inverter( looks like a phone cord)
wait a few minutes and plug it back in.
That should do a reset on the unit.

I'm away from the MH for a few days but I'll look that up.

blinking Green LED means ready to go into Inverting mode.

As long as you are not in the setup mode

On my 458 when plugged into 110 volts the inverter green light blinks and the charger light is lit. That means the charger is charging the house batteries and the inverter is in standby. When unplugged the opposite occurs. The charger is on standby (blinking) and the inverter (solid green) is providing 110 volts to the house via the house battery bank.
