While boondocking, will this unit start the generator if the AC thermostat needs to start the roof AC?

This feature requires the newer RV GS series inveter and it must be wired into your A/C controller to send voltage to the inverter when cold is called for.

The older RV X series inverters do not have this feature. The GS inverter manual has the information.

I have the same controller. Mine will not start the coach for temperature sensing but there is a way to do this but it takes additional wiring to connect to the thermostat. On page 20 of the attached manual it discusses this option, don't know if it can be added to yours.

I added an Onan wireless remote start on my coach that senses temperature and if not connected to shore power will start generator. It is a EC-30W unit.
