I was going to de-winterize while camping at Prince William Forest RV Campground, VA this weekend. However, since they called for snow Sunday night I held off. It is snowing right now as I am writing this.

Dewinterized mine last week on a 67 deg day in TN. Checked the 7 day forecast before I started and it showed lows in mid 30's. No more then when I finished ,the forecast showed a 20 deg night coming soon.Since then we've had one night in the teens,2 in the 20's and now snow for the next 3 days.I did have time to air purge my system to rest easier and put a heater near my fresh tank so my pump wouldn't freeze.Luckily I left my water heater empty also.Fingers crossed for our first trip of the year next week.

If you have heating off the furnace, set at low setting, should be enough to keep compartments warm.
Have no problem with mine even in 1* weather in Nappanee Jan 09, of course temp was set higher.

Black soot around a/c vents & ceiling lights

Just took the DP (03 Damon Ultra Sport) out of winter storage and DW reminded me that I needed to clean the ceiling since there is noticeable black soot around the lights and A/C vents. Does anyone else have this problem and what I can do to resolve this problem. I told the DW that we can sell this one and get a bigger one with 4 slides and bigger frig. She not happy with that idea!

Here are a few ideas on removing stains that may work.
If you do a search for "cleaning ceiling" there are more.
