Question Yearly Maintenance?

What kind of yearly maintenance do you perform on your Class A diesels? We own a 2003 Fleetwood Providence, and only use it April through September in Michigan. It's "stored" during the winter months, covered outdoors on a cement pad. We currently have 40,000 miles or so on it.

I change the oil, oil filter, fuel/water separater filter yearly & chassis lubrication (we only drive about 5K-6K/mi/yr). I generally follow the mfgr recommendations on the coolant filter, air filter and dessicant air filter changes.

You need to follow your chassis manufactures requirements for service. One overlooked item often seen is the air dryer for the brake system. You need to know the dryer manufacture you have on your coach and the required replacement frequency specified. Safety first.

Safe travels and THE JOY IS IN THE RIDE.

X2 yearly no matter if it doesn't have enough miles

Freightliner has a chassis maintenance guide. M1, M2, M3 and it gives you both recommended mileage and months to service the chassis. keep in mind this is a guide that Freightliner uses for their service. Some independent shops may have more or less that they service. safe travels.. ed

We use roughly the same list; all I would add is transmission filters every 3-4 years with fluid sampling every year.
