The Ventana is actually at the TOP of of our list right now, until I read about the toilet issues - that made me back up a second. But then I realized I could probably build a tv lift behind the couch of ANYTHING.... i mean anything can be changed right?
The AC 42 footers or on a short list. Same with the tour/ellipse of a few years. Possibly a dynasty or diplomat. Maybe the entegra, but nothing is as sexy as that ventana... well the king aire is sure nice ... Rugged k3 frame.

and my wife really wants to snuggle while watching tv, can't blame her, I'm a snuggable dude... so when the tv is midship, and the two opposing couches are at the front, it sort of puts us right in the position we are now, her on one couch, me on the other. booo
as like the american tradition.
However the midship in the aspire 44u makes a little more sense as the l shaped couch faces it.

New's not critical to me, but I have to admit I'd like be the first one to take off the tags and poop in it. But I'm not opposed to used because of the fact you REALLY DO save a lot of money.
On the other hand, the Ventana isn't all that expensive to begin with, not much to lose. And personally, if the coach is working nice and too my liking, I can handle it hanging around for a long while.
I feel bad though when I see a prevost 9 years old with only 22000 miles on it for $159000 OUCH! Talk about some country singer losing some money eh?
I've even kicked around the idea of just gutting mine and refinishing the inside. If it had a tag axle, I might really do that. It runs nice for sure.
I think what I'm trying identify with this post is... what year and model used coaches have I overlooked... i feel like I've seen them all over the past several months.. it's crazy... but then you run across something you hadn't really seen... like the dynasty... probably a great coach!

New? take it or leave
You want 3 a/c
what do you buy

I would look at Entegra, Newmar, Monaco or American.
I paid less than your budget 2 years ago for a 2009 American Eagle 42M with less than 20k miles and warranty remaining on chassis and motor, full wall slide, tag, bath and half, TV above Drivers/Passenger (between), another on back end of front curb slide, one in the bedroom with King bed, huge rear bath with wardrobe all the way across rear, stack washer and dryer, heated tile floor, aqua hot, 3 a/c's, and I don't find it difficult to access water/sewer compartments with slide out. If you have flexibility issues I would hook up utilities prior to putting slides out which is what I usually do while the coach is self leveling.
Good luck.

I would re-buy my Dutch Star.
Now it's more or less the Ventana.

Another issue I had with the Ventana is the overhead cabinets on the passenger side. For some reason, Newmar has boxed off about half of it and really reduced the storage space. Also, prior to 2013 (I think) the 43' Ventana only came with the ISC 380/1050 (DEF) engine or the ISC 360/1050 (non-DEF) engine. Since then, they have moved up to the ISL 400/1250 engine. Big difference.
The 4335 Ventana was our #1 choice and we tried to deal with the dealer for over a year. Unfortunately, we just could not come to an agreement. The very last try, we were at an FMCA rally in Albany Oregon when walking away from the Newmar section, we came to the Tiffin section and our future coach was sitting right there. It had everything the Ventana did (except for the comfort drive.. )....plus a lot more for about 20K less than our best deal with the Newmar dealer.
If you get a chance, take a look at the 42' Phaeton.

Try a 2015 Winnebago Journey or Tour Or Look at Itasca Meridian or Elipse. Both have a about a 33% markup so you can probably get 30% off retail with no problem

I love you guys that buy new and work out all the bugs for a few years and then guys like me can take them off your hands for half price!
To answer your question, I would spend less then 50,000 and keep the rest for my Wife and I to enjoy the high life with out having to work.....

Here is a link that shows another members mod to install the TV on a lift behind the couch......So you can do this to any coach you end up buying.....
