ZURN PEX valves

In the wet bay of the Coach there are valves for the low point drains an water tank fill. They are the ZURN Xex valve similar to this Product Details - Zurn. But mide have a plastic handle. While winterizing a few days ago to of the plastic handles just crumbled in my hand while opening and closing. I would like to replace the handles with the metal chrome planted one but can't seem to find a source online, any thoughts.

Hi adonh,
Consider Goodling "zurn metal handles". You'll have merchants to browse through. If there are any identifying markings on the valves you have, include them in your search. Another thought would be to take the broken valve to Lowe's or HD. They usually have a good supply of components like you are looking for.

Nothing comes up that covers the Pex valve handle or anything like it. I will head over to Lowe's tomorrow and see what I can find. Thanks

Those shut-off valves have a fluted shaft on them that prevents the handle from rotating. AFAIK, the shaft is a standard dimension and you might be able to use any old handle you can find from a valve like that one. I'd take a screwdriver (Philips) with you to the store and surreptitiously remove a handle and see if it looks like it would fit your old one. (I don't mean "borrowing" it.) You might even think about replacing the valve with a new by using a pex compression fitting type so you don't need any special tools like a crimper.

I know there are ball valves for Pex tubing as I used them on my son's house when we did some plumbing changes. I purchased them from Menards, I had to use the crimp rings on them though so unless you have access to that crimping tool you might want to explore another option. Plastic valves etc. always seem to deteriorate after awhile.

The valves are fine and only the plastic handles are showing through the stainless backing in the wet bay. The plastic has just deteriorated over the years and has gone from a clear plastic to a yellowed color. I have one of the other handles intact so I will see if I can find a metal replacement.

Lowes has an assortment of pex valves Shop pex valves at Lowes.com: Search Results

I used the Apollo brass valves (top of the page) when I re-did my water bay manifold valves. Your valve is shown further down the list..
-----
Now- I see you want just the handles
