Sometimes a noise can be deceiving as to where it originates. It's extremely difficult to figure out what noise you are speaking of and where it's coming from based on a few written lines here. If it is indeed "pounding", and it started part way throughout your trip, I'd guess you have a tire going bad. I'd make a "bee-line" to a good tire shop and have them check out your tires. While you're there, if it's not a tire, have then put it on a rack and look under the van for problems. Good luck.

I do not like noises of any kind coming from my Roadtrek, so I had my bride drive it down the country road we live on, and I was in the back finding the sources of the noises.

As mentioned above, the noise is usually emanating from an area other than you originally thought.

This is the quickest method to eliminate the gremlins.

Best of luck!

An update would be nice. Others learn from issues/SOLUTIONS on forums so if it's not too much trouble, we'd like to know what the problem and solution was. Thanks
