2014 Roadtrek E-Trek

I was wondering if anyone has done any updates to make the ride more comfortable on their Mercedes Benz Roadtrek. I was told to add air bag suspension, replace the shocks, tires, add a sway bar. Our ride is horrible, it's sways and the rv feels every bump in the road. Don't know where to start.

That's kind of surprising, normally those sprinter chassis' are pretty nice to drive I thought.

I'd start with the sway bar...

There are several roadtrek / sprinter specific forums you might want to ask of...

I have an Adventurous 3500 that rides very good. You might look into Koni Red shocks and a Roadmaster heavy duty rear sway bar. Also, what air pressure are you running? I run 60 front, 75 rear.

Do you have dual wheels in the back? I have 55 psi in the front and 61 in the back, per the tag on the side of the door. The is ride is better when I took 5 psi out of each tire.

The Roadtrek forum wasn't really helpful. They replaced tires and shocks which didn't help.

I replaced struts, shocks and sway bar, ride was still terrible. I found one blog that suggested checking torque on leaf spring u bolts (125#). None of the nuts were properly torqued. Much better ride now.
