Advise on purchasing a 2013 Leisure Travel Libero
Hi,
New member here! My DW & I have been looking at Class B+s for some time & found a 13 Libero used with only 2,500 miles on it at a good price. It is fully loaded with a Macerator, etc. Any positive or negative feedback would be appreciated.
And a PM from "Libero" on this forum would be appreciated as I understand from your postings that you have enjoyed yours for some time now.
Going to the dealer this weekend to inspect and possibly close the sale.
Thanks!

The Libero is a class C not B. That aside, LTV makes great units, and that Chevy cab/chassis base sure helps. It'll drive great compared to the Ford class C's, that's for sure.....

This isn't the first post like this I've seen here on iRV2...
That opening line is in error...like many of these new Class B+, there is no cab-over bunk...so it is not a Class C. That's not some trick being executed by RV makers, it's just how RVIA catagorizes RV's.
And to kick the Chevy vs. Ford bee hive is just odd...but since the venerable E-series goes bye-bye starting in the 2015 models - replaced by the EuroVan named Transit-150 and rolling out to Transit-350 over the next few years - then using the Chevy is a smart mfgt option.
For the OP, I have seen these RV's in-person and they seem very nice.
Best luck

I rest my case about the class B vs C statement.....see the word "optional" over cab bed on class C?
The Libero is a C.....

<--The word "optional" on a RVIA website won't change the fact that many RV makers are calling their Wide-Body cab/chassis based campers "B+ RV's."
What I wonder about is "WHY?". I just don't understand the issue makers have with using the "Class C" label. These B+ RV's look more like a "C" to me too.
AND, don't dare call a RV on a Class 7 or 8 cab/chassis a "Super Class C" ...they want you to say "Truck Conversion."
Of course - The BIG Prevost and Sentra bodied RV's are not "Class A's"...they are "Bus Conversions."
These titles are not even listed by RVIA. Maybe it's a snob-appeal thing
Safe travels to all and Best luck to the OP
