Battery minder on roadtrek help

If I connect battery minder to chassis battery and go in and flip switch to turn coach battery on. Will battery minder charge it at same time? Just didn't wanna manually connect to coach battery or try to figure out where on battery isolater to connect charger to. Thanks

If you have a battery isolator, then the answer is no, since that is what a battery isolator does. If you have a dual charging relay system, which usually only works when the alternator is charging, then the answer is no. Most systems are set up to not take power from the chassis battery to the house battery, so you can always start your rig.

You don't even have to turn the battery switches ON. Load this little Demo and select your year/model of Roadtrek from the drop down window (lower left of display) and you will see that your model has a simple solenoid separator as the isolator. Placing the Battery Minder on the chassis battery positive should charge both batteries, as this will close the solenoid. If the solenoid has a separate post for attaching the alternator, then place your minder there.
