dthompso..Welcome to iRV2 !
I did a "Member Search" here for Freelander owners and only came up with a few who have ever posted here. You may want to send one or two of them a Private Message" to get their opinion.

Good Luck !

Don't know about that particular model but my son purchased an 09 31ft Freelander new and has been very happy with it. He has had almost no problems and it sees hard use with two kids and a large dog along with him and his wife using it.
