Considering a Pleasureway PURSUIT?? HELP!

Hello,
I am a newbie, and would love any feedback on The pleasureway PURSUIT B+
I had considered strongly the Class B Plateau series on the MB chassis. I like the VAN idea for the manueverability and no garish graphics!!! Then I viewed a 2013 PURSUIT / FORD E350 GAS- now a strong consideration but I am not sure about the GAS choice over diesel?? I will realize a significant price difference choosing GAS over Diesel, but I am concerned about depreciation too. But I also do not want to get caught up in the MB Diesel mania out there...I owned many MB autos and know how horribly expensive to maintain. Should I look at other choices//// Help?

I just purchased a Pursuit because it is so much more livable than any standard B. Much roomier and a inside height of 6.8" makes the comparison no contest. It has a real shower, not this ridiculous set up where the toilet is in the shower and you sit on it to take a shower and then have to wipe the whole thing down. A B's claim to fame is that it can go any where and park anywhere and the Pursuit can fit in a standard parking spot too without all the sacrifice.

Now the bad... It probably gets worse mpg than any other B. But it was the right one for us.

What kind of mpg are you getting with your Pursuit? Any rattles? (A big pet peeve of my husband's). lol

We had a 2014 Pleasure-Way Plateau TS .... LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT. We were getting 18 MPG if hubby was driving, I am more of a led foot so I averaged in the 16-17 MPG.
If you have owned MB there is nothing better in driving and handling. Everything about it is class and the workmanship is beautiful. We travel with a cat and cat box and I thought it was to tight and we traded for a Coachman Prism 24G on the Sprinter Chassis. it is 24'10" with two slides instead of 22" of the Plateau .... I love the Coachman and it is great unit but I miss the Plateau and the 22' and parking anyplace with no problem.
We eventually will end up with another Pleasure-Way but only the MB Sprinter will do after having PW Ford version. PW makes the new Plateau wide body that is like the pursuit but on the MB Chassis and it is a beauty.

Thanks for the reply. It is exactly how we feel, we have an older 25 ft B+ we're looking to trade and are considering between the Pursuit and a Prism ourselves. Just like the idea of going a little smaller and being able to park anywhere and love the bigger bath and fridge, but are torn. Our 25 ft is pretty good but there are times that it does limit us. Thanks for the reply. I agree that the workmanship in the PW look incredible.

We like and think the Pursuit may suit us also. Our older 25 ft Trail-Lite B+ V-10 on a Ford gets pretty good gas mileage for what it is, about 12 or so, but it's a light rig. How much mpg does the Pursuit get exactly? I know compared to an MB it's less. I know a MB smaller B is going to get better gas, but a regular B might be a little small especially tank wise, and also a little too expensive for us. JFYI the larger 25 ft Prism B+ on an MB is less expensive than most smaller MB B's we've seen.

We now have about 6000 miles on our Pursuit and nothing has changed. We still absolutely love it and in our travels have seen nothing that compares. About 12 mpg if you go easy and don't use the generator.

You can't believe the places we've been able to park and the 22' length is the key. Those 24' sprinters can't park where we park and we have the room to be comfortable in all day long.

There now are other models/mfgs that offer all that we have and I would advise you look at them all. But 90" wide and 22' long are the dimensions you do not want to exceed if you want ALL the freedom you can get.

If I could have found a 22' sprinter with my width and conveniences, that would be the perfect small RV. The sprinter drives much better than the ford chassis.

We hoped it may be about 12 mpg as that is what we are getting in our older 2003 25 ft V-10 B+, longer than 22 ft Pursuit but it was a lighter rig. JFYI, hubbie and I just drove a 25 ft MB Coachmen Prism, and it was nice BUT my husband still likes the feel of our Ford V10. Said ours felt more "stable". I definitely as a passenger felt it rocking a little more side to side, being narrower. If I can get a Pursuit at a good price is definitely a contender. I have seen 24 ft MB's sell around the same price as the Pursuit tho, so that's an issue. The Pursuit is such a unique, open and may I say PRETTY rig. Very classy, comfortable and elegant inside and just love the length. Enjoy!
