Do the Mercedes Sprinter 3500 Side Mirrors fold?

I have several tight driveways that I would like to be able to pull my Pleasureway Plateau TS into? It is a 2017 and the side mirrors do not seem to fold in with any ease. Before I go trying to force them, I thought I would confirm whether or not they can actually fold.

Thanks

I'm looking forward to an answer on this one as well. They sure don't look like they want to fold, at least not like the older Sprinters. They have to at least breakaway or fold to protect pedestrians but I sure don't want to force them.

Here is what I heard from Pleasureway:

Yes they do. They are the OEM mirrors as supplied by Mercedes Benz.

So with that in hand, I wiggled the mirrors a little bit and after a good 20-30 seconds they bent forward one notch and then a second notch. Now they don't stick out nearly as far, but do not lay flat against the door.

I had the same question.
When I looked at them there didn't seem to be a way for them to fold.
Pressed fairly hard (didn't want to break them) to the rear and they didn't move.
Took leap of faith and just wailed on one towards the rear. Success, it folded.

They will fold but it takes more pressure than you think to do it.

A little lube helps

I knew they folded, but like others, didn't want to break them. I shot a little lube into the pivot points and waited about an hour. After that they fold with just the right amount of force. I don't think the previous owner ever folded the mirrors.
