Perhaps this is just a misunderstanding? What did the official supplier say to you?

My new 2020 Revel did not come with a spare. My understanding was that it was to meet a higher level of OCCC. The rack is there, and I’ve already ordered a spare. 2019 version came with a spare.

Bought a MB steel rim for $160, bought a tire for $185, had a spare tire rack built for $350. I now have a spare?

Yes I know this is a Type B MH forum but I've had Type A diesel pushers for 19 years. In that time I've never needed a spare tire. I did have a flat on the present rig but Les Schwab had it fixed along the road and back underway in an hour. Besides I'd need two spares anyway, one 365/70 22.5 and one 315/80 22.5.
Do Type B MH's get flat tires more often than Type A MH's?

We do not carry a spare on our Discovery. Have had three incidents with rear
tires. (110,000 miles) In each case we were able to get to a truck tire store or get help with our Good Sam insurance. Not a problem if one can settle down and seek help.
Regards,
JimB

I'm sure you know what I mean.... but, if I did have a failure and the existing tire needed to be replaced, it would sure be handy to have another one with you.....
I don't know how many people would be capable of changing the tires on my dually.... unless they are professional and have the equipment.... Maybe there is a jack on my rig... don't recall seeing it.... again, most people are going to call roadside assistance.....

Just about everyone touring on a motorcycle .
I'm sorry but , I found this to be an odd question , from a member with what would be taken; by the user name; to be an indication that he rides .
I know this post is in the Class B forums, but I'll throw in my 2C worth.
Do I have a spare ; no ; would I attempt to change it myself if I did have one , answer also ; no.
Do I carry a cell phone and have a paid up roadside assistance package ... you bet I do; and a toad full of fuel to get to where there is cell service, should problems happen.
