Can you tell me why my older winnebago has a strong gas odor? Only from the outside. Is this safe to camp with?

gas as in propane or gas as in gasoline fumes. In either case, there is a leak problem that needs to be fixed first.

Two things, make sure your life insurance is paid current and please do no park near me.

You should go get it looked at by a professional.
On 10/15/10,
Puchased a 1989 Class B Dodge Xplorer In Cash
On 5/2/15, Girlfriend purchased 2002 Dynamax Carri-go in cash.

By all means have it checked. If it is propane and you have an exterior hookup for your BBQ check that the valves are closed. I had the same problem until I looked in there and saw that one of the shut off valves had come partly open.

Good Luck
