Do all B's need to run the gen to keep the whole vehicle cool? Seems with a smaller B like the Roadtrek 170 the air could be pushed throughout the vehicle. My expedition EL is about that length so I guess I am wondering why B's need a gen for rear AC...or do they?

Yes they do because the roof air is 110 volt. Dash air works fine going down the road but if you pull over to have lunch or something it's nice to have the generator and roof air.

So there are no vents from the main dash AC going to the back?

According to website for Roadtrek the new ETrek can run AC off the inverter. Sportsmobile website also states for a short period of time you can run the AC of the inverter.

Well in most cases in a Class B both occupants are seated up front while driving . But no vents from the dash air ducts to the back. I know some Mfg's are running ac's off the inverter but it has to be for very limited time. Class B's don't have room for multi batteries to sustain running a AC
