Is this marketed to you?

Would you buy a bright red RV? Maybe yellow, or lime green? Do you think folks that spend money on something as costly as a B-van are up for wild colors?

Early this spring, they produced a one-off in red and sent it to a big RV show. Supposedly there was a lot of positive reaction. So here you go - they drop a conservative color - Sandstone - and offer this flame red.

Lichsinn has it listed on their site for full MSRP. Think they'll get it?

I think they will sell fine. Current target market are baby boomers who have some fond cultural memories of their youth in the 60's and 70's. Neither were boring decades.

The RV industry is caught up in few color options. Much like Apple awakened us that all PCs were beige, there will be a shift in the look and color of RVs.

Pretty tough to find a beige computer these days.

Winnebago is shipping a new retro Brave. Yellow and some 70s colors inside.

I like red! I wonder if a siren is on the options list. . . . .

How about some keen looking orange shag carpeting and avocado appliances to enhance the ambiance.

IMO any B-van would be nice to have, (but only if it's towable 4 down).

It's one thing for it to have a yellow stripe - it's another to have one painted completely yellow. Don't think they'd move too many painted like school buses.

I'm intrigued with the Brave. It's offered in three schemes - that yellow, a brown and a deep red. I suspect that the brown will be the biggest seller. The interiors on these are really well done. You can look to your hearts content with a youtube search.

If I was looking for a class A, I'd seriously look at one of these. There is a lot there for not a lot of money - typical Winnebago bringing value. You'd have to do some mods for 4 season camping, but most buyers of these are not winter users probably.

I suspect that I'd be disappointed in the driving dynamics though. It's a big box on a c-class chassis.

I don't think I have ever seen a klugier bed system. I not a fan of blocking the main entry/exit door.

There is always 'a lot of positive reaction' to such things... and then they don't sell.

I think it's comical. My pop up from 40 yrs ago was better designed than that silly thing.
