Last of the Season ...

Hi,

took my RV out for the last time this season. I had already winterized it but chose a campground with a comfort station open year round. Day-time temps were around -2 C (29 F) and night was -8 C (18 F). Day was sunny and the night was clear (able to get some star photos). Heard one wolf howl and that was it, no deer, no moose, nada.

I do have a furnace, and did use it, but also bring an oil-filled electric radiator, which minimized how often the furnace came on (the blower is VERY noisy).

Now, I need to think about where to go next year ... stay in Province (Ontario) or ... head to the Alaska highway again but take a different route in BC up into the Yukon.

This year, I went to Newfoundland and, for those hesitating about doing that trip ... go ... it's beautiful.

Cheers,

Steve

Except for an occasional summer camping trip our "RV season" starts in Dec. and ends in April.
