Leisure Van Pricing

DW and I are interested in the Leisure Van Unity model. Based on various posts in iRV2 it sounds as though these are very well built units and production is limited.

Knowing that most new RVs can be bought with a 20-25% discount off of MSRP, if not more, for you Leisure Van owners what has been your experience when buying? Are they discounted that much, a lesser amount or discounted at all?

Heading to the Portland RV show next weekend so seeing what kind of show pricing they offer might help a bit.

Thank you for your input.

Dirk

We got a significant discount in 2013, but I don't know what kind of deals one can get now with the high demand and production challenges.

Good luck getting any discount!

Orders had been quoted between 8-9 months for delivery but with the high demand for the product, high volume of orders and backlog, it is running closer to 10-11 months. Let us know what you hear at the RV show.

I'd expect around 10-14% off LTVs at a show. I've been offered around 11% from dealer for ones on the lot. If ordering, expect 6-month wait for the Unity line.

So how'd the RV show work out for you? Pricing? Wait or build time? The U24MB looks like a great floor plan. Please advise....

Dean from LT was there for the show. Very nice guy and we spoke quite a bit about new changes and production for the Unity. The 2016 MB floorplan will have a two recliner option and they will rotate to face each other for dining. Bed will be manual fold down and will be 68" wide and can be left down with the slide in while traveling. The company, Dean, seemed very customer oriented. Production will be ramped up to 12 units per week, 600 units per year. That could affect pricing if demand weakens. They did not have any 'show' pricing signs out and I did not talk pricing with the salesperson who by the way was Brian from Johnson RV in Sandy OR and was very friendly and helpful. As an option you can also have the above cabinet accent lighting.

I was impressed with Dean. You have seen him on the LT video and he is just the same in person; passionate about his product.

We did a tour of the factory yesterday. They have 300 employees. They complete an average of 60 units per month. Everything on the line is presold and there is roughly a 1 year wait for an order.

Just took delivery of my 2016 Libero. Fantastic quality! Waited roughly 6 months.
