Lately, the new generation of B / B+ campers don't want to be in parks. There another hidden use for a generator and that is trade in value, most buyers are expecting a generator.

Maybe so, but I would think the lithium upgrade and the advantage it brings would offset not having a genset for most users, who only stay a night or two boon-docking. In any event, I'm buying the RV for me to use as I use it, not as an investment. It will bring what it will bring in resale value.
