Oil Change while Traveling

What do folks do for oil changes when traveling? We are looking to make a trip of about 7,000 miles and I would like to change the oil in the M/H every 3-5 K miles. I suppose I could stretch it to 7, but wouldn't like to.

I switched over to Amsoil good for 10k miles. I normally put on 7500 on my winter trips to CA and back to NH. Works for me, some 5 yrs. doing it.

I use Mobil I fully synthetic Extended Performance oil in our Class A with an 8.1L chevy engine. I have made trips from GA to NV without changing the oil with no problems.

This is from the Mobil 1 website:

To prove the protection of our oils in some of the toughest conditions, we test in real situations. Watch the testing of Mobil 1™ Extended Performance in Las Vegas taxis, where engines are pushed to the limit. The oil was changed every 15,000 miles.
