Onan Generator remote stop not working

How can I determine if I need a NW switch or something else? The remote switch turns on the generator but will not turn it off. I use LP gas so I have to go outside and turn off the gas soppy to stop the generator, Any ideas?

If you can identify your generator it would help. Are you talking about the remote switch inside your coach? Have you tried turning it off by the off switch at the gen?

I don't have a propane generator, but I had a simular problem with my remote start switch on the console. I put in a new switch and it works great now. Could be the stop part is bad. You can test it by turning it on and taking a piece of speaker wire or something like that and touch the stop sides and if it turns off go buy a new switch.

Good Luck
