Opinions on a class b+ V10

I'm in the market for a class b or b+. I'm checking out a 2001 Carriage, 6.8 lit V10, 37,000 miles. I welcome any input, suggestions. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of a V10? This is my first RV to begin my adventures and I want to make a good decision. Thanks for anything you can offer.

My experience so far is its the best thing out there in Gas engines. I have a C with a E450 chassis 2005 . I put a Banks kit on it but without the banks kit It was still a great engine. It idles so smooth you cant tell its running. It gets an Average of 8.5 MPG and runs regular gas with no ping or run on even after a long climb. Most of its Torque is made down low with a peak around 2500 -2700 with a Banks kit. It will pull all the way to 5000 but I keep it down below 3000 because I see no reason to run it any higher. Hot starts no problem. Ford recommends a 5-20 or 5-30 synthetic oil . Most of all for me is IT DON'T STINK like diesel . Gas is cheeper and the cost of a diesel engine is so high not to mention Wieght. Cold Starts in the frozen world up north will be better with the Gas engine..... I hate Ford but I have had to take a second look this engine is a real keeper.! Never herd anyone say a bad word about the 6.8 V10
