Roadtrek interior

I am new to this forum. If this has been discussed before I apologize. I own a 07 Versatile 190 and my seats (front and rear) have deteriorated rapidly the past 30K miles. I contacted Roadtrek in Canada with my concerns (and photos) only to be insulted by saying I did not take care of my vehicle as this is an isolated incident. I am a motor head, auto restorer, and hot rodder. I know how to care for my vehicles. I contacted an auto upholsterer who does custom cars, street rods etc. I was told he has stacks of photos of Roadtrecks with badly worn seats. He claims the seat material is "junk"! Are there any other Roadtrek owners who have this problem?

My RT 190P is too new (2015) to have a problem but I'll certainly be watching the seats for similar problems. However, you might get more response over at the Roadtrek Yahoo group or the Class B Forum.

FWIW, I have a 2000 Roadtrek 190P with 65K miles on it. The seats look great and are holding up fine so far. Perhaps is a model year issue when they changed fabrics, or perhaps a bad fabric run. Not real happy to hear how they responded. You would think they would at least investigate further rather than a quick 'its you not us' attitude.

They have sold out to Hymer from Germany. The family that owned and ran the business aren't running it like they used too. I had a 2003 190 Versatile and it was a wonderful product that we really enjoyed.
Sorry to hear about your interior and the bad customer support you received. Years ago I made a call to the factory and was treated like I was their only customer. Times sure have changed.

I have a 2004 Roadtrek Popular 210 with 66,000 miles on it, that we have owned for two years now. The front seats and passenger seat are in great condition yet. This is on a Chevy Express Van chassis. I have thought about putting seat covers on to protect them, but haven't done so yet. Sorry to hear of the shabby response. I suspect that employee you talked with has another task now.
