Secure over night stops with power?

Is there a data base for secure overnight spots for smaller conversions and Unity style B+and C class RV's. Not looking for free...Looking for security and power perhaps.

The Walmart/Cracker Barrel/Truck stop angle is not what we seek....Just a parking opportunity with power and security that can be booked ahead and paid for.......

We use the RV Parks & Campgrounds app for Android and iStuff it is free and an awesome resource. It even shows the WM and CB's too.

You want to hook up to power, have security, and be able to book ahead?!? And don't want it to be a campground???? Okay, I'll bite, just what are you looking for? I'm not trying to be smart here, but it sounds like you want a campground, just don't want to pay for a campground . . . .? You might be able to work something out with a VFW or Lions Club, or Elks Club, but you don't say where you are in the country either, so I'm not sure if anyone will be able to give you much help.

I use KOA.com, GoodSamClub.com, reserveAmerica.com or recreation.gov, depending on our destination.

Transient RV'ing just power...

Thanks for the links, very helpful. We are happy to pay whatever it costs....this is about convenience not cost. We are located in New Smyrna Beach and Green Bay WI Travelling between those locals and CA...Transient is the key and I was thinking there may be overnight parking with just power and no facilities other than power...something "other than" a campground....Perhaps I am all wet but hopefully this explains it better...

AHH, a quick overnight near the highway. Easy to find, easy to hookup, a nice pull through. That would be wonderful, but I don't think you will find them very easily.

The Rest Areas in Ohio on I-80/90 have plug in, easy pull through sites for $20. Sounds like a great idea but they are all too short for a diesel class A pulling a toad, and I have never seen anything like this anywhere else.

I have often wondered why some of the overnight motels along the highways don't figure out a way to set up a few sites in their parking lots. Makes sense to me. My assumption is that there is no market for it or money to be made from it. Too Bad, sounds like my kind of stop over. Instead, we stay in loud Truck Stops with no hookups, but they are convenient!

On I-95 in NC there are a couple of campgrounds that offer quick transient sites. However they are the exception rather than the rule. There used to be a hotel in Roanoke Rapids, NC that had some RV sites too. They are closed now.

Use that app that I linked to and it will help you find campgrounds to do further research on. I agree that what you are asking for is a great idea, it just hasn't been expanded on by the campgrounds. Unfortunately they are slow to invest in some things.
