Single step failure on Class B+

While on vacation last week I had a step failure. My unit has a one step auto out/in unit. This past week the pin bent ( not sure how, but I think the bolt was not fully seated and it partially slipped out and bent) which caused the failure. The arm that pushes and pulls the step in and out is very sloppy and loose. I'd like to replace the unit but not sure if I can do it. Any reassurances out there? Al T.

Hi Cliff. I have a owners manual #888 for the Kwikee Electric steps (one step). I think the part number I need is #1101427 Gear/Linkage 'C' Straight. Not positive though.

Wow, your advice to contact Power Gear/Kwikee Technical Service was a god send! I took a few photos and a short video, sent it to Tony at Power Gear, who reassured me the unit was fixable. It's fixed and now working great. How can I say thank you enough. What a wonderful site this is! Thanks one and all. Al
