Sprinter Side vent window operator replacement

Good morning. I had placed this query into the General Discussion but received no replies. Please consider this question and reply if you can help.

So we have a 2018 Winnebago ERA 70A. The window behind the driver's seat has a vent window that can be opened. The window crank has stripped its gears. Does anyone know how to replace the center mount window crank operator without having to remove the entire window? This is a center mount operator with a square torque bar.

The torque bar appears to be pinned into each end of the window frame. Has anyone removed the torque bar by flexing the bar and sliding the operator off the end?

Thanks so much

I guess no one knows how to fix that particular mishap? I know I don't know.

What did Winnebago Industries Service Administration say to do to replace/repair it? They built it, they'll know what's required. While you're waiting for someone on here to answer your question, why not send them an email?

or@winnebagoind.com

Include the vehicle VIN and Winnebago Serial numbers on your question.

If your. 2018, Era 70A is the same as my 2015 then that window is a Mercedes item. (Not Winnebago)
I have a friend who just had some extensive window work done on his huge DP. The windows are by the same manufacturer. I will contact him for the name and address. It was in or near Hudson, FL.
