The first 8k on our LT Unity

Just completed a Nevada to Connecticut and back trip in our Unity 24MB. Hit some snow in the Rockies along with some serious high winds and a bit of hale. Though it all the handling was top notch. Mileage ranged from a low of 14.7 MPG to a high of 17.5 MPG. Average was between 15.5 and 16. The performance has been just super no issues with mountain grades or winding roads. We did have an issue with a faulty circuit which resulted in having to to flat-bedded from north of Cheyenne, Wy to Loveland, Co. on a Saturday and had to wait until Monday afternoon to get back on the road. However, Mercedes gave us a nice loaner for the weekend so all was not lost. Other than that my only issue was it seems the DEF reservoir was not topped off upon delivery and we ended up having to add a total of 2.5 gallons during the trip. We now carry an extra 4.5 gallon containers in one of the storage compartments. BTW the .5 containers work just super in filling the reservoir, clean and easy with no leakage or odor.
The MB model seems to suit us well. Do miss not having a proper table but the bed is super comfortable and love the theater seating. Also a very nice touch is the LED lights along the awning.

Congratulations on your trip! We are just under 8000 miles on our 2013 Unity having gone on one major trip, Wisconsin to Oregon.

Can I ask you a favor? What is the distance between the ground and the bottom of the receiver hitch? I'm at Blue Ox with my toad and the Unity is at home. Thanks so much.
