Travato 2019 vs. 2020

Didn't see this question anywhere, so thought I'd see if anyone knew... what is the difference between the 2019 Travato KL and the 2020 Travato KL?
I can't find any specs that show some kind of change between years, but the price has gone up almost $7 grand. It can't just be that it is a new year, could it?

I don't think there are any. I know they went to different window options in 19 e.g. thermal vs. sliding.

They also went to interior window cassettes vs blinds. Great improvements.

What I soooo want is for them to upgrade the battery size like they did for the limited edition National Parks model.

Please, Winnebago!!

Well, guess I was wrong. There are several updates on the 2020 GL/KL.

I'm sure the non battery system items translate to the generator powered models.

Automotive grade instulation
Sumo springs front/rear

Solar goes up to 230w vs. 200w
Alternator goes up to 160amp vs. 120amp
New Colorado Carefree awning has more powerful motor and blutooth function
New all metal roof rack
New ladder lock
New quiet Coleman Mach 10 with blutooth
New roof connectivity port for new gear you want on the roof
Wider illuminated running boards with pet tether hooks
Ram mount system

Perhaps these are some small corrections that were not even considered necessary to express about them

Save the $7 grand and get the 2019.....

Look, it's going to depreciate fast anyway... unless there's some special features on the 2020....

And, if they are both brand new with similar warranties, why would you want to spend extra money.....

Actually, you could save more on a 3 to 5 year old RV....

Just my opinion.

You buy the 2020 because it has more capability than the 2019.

You buy new because a 3-5 year old travato doesn't have the volta power system, thermal windows, better insulation, new chassis, etc. And never will.

All RVs depreciate. You either get a better RV and accept the depreciation or settle for an inferior older RV. It's all personal choice.

How's that?

Are you going to tell me that my 2012 RS Adventurous is less quality than a Hymer Sunlight or Carado?

Quality and capability are two completely different things. A Carado and RS Adventurous are two completely different things. If you'd like to compare an apple to an apple, say a 2012 Adventurous to a 2018 Adventurous, the 2018 is far more capable than the 2012. As far as quality goes, Roadtrek suffered from quality issues for quite some time so I can't really speak to which is better in that regards.

Most of the time newer is better, but, that wasn't my point and you know it....

Look, of course, under most circumstances, a 2018 RS Adventurous is going to be better than a 2012.... I think.... it's newer....

My point was that the Hymer Sunlight and Carado was put together so flimsy...in about a day.. while it takes more than 2 weeks or more to build out the RS....

SO..... would you rather have an older well built RV with some mileage on it or a brand new one that was an entry level coach that was put together on a shoe string budget..?

The OP had a question about Travato's and you guys step into this thread and start bickering.

Please go start a Hymer quality thread of your own to work this obvious issue out...
