Travato Lock/Horn Question

My horn doesn't sound when I lock it with the key FOB(RKE). Does yours?
See below quote from the manual.

Flash Headlights With LockWhen this feature is selected, the headlights will flash when the doors are locked or unlocked with the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. This feature may be selected with or without the sound horn on lock feature selected. To make your selection, touch the Flash Headlights with Lock soft-key, until a check-mark appears next to setting, indicating that the setting has been selected. Touch the arrow back / Done soft-key to return to the previous menu.

I cannot find that soft-key on my screen at all. The only lock feature I have is to lock the doors after certain miles per hour. I have read other posts on other forums that talk about it as well.

Thanks for any input.

I'll look for the settings on mine.

Currently, mine just flashes the lights if I hit lock. That is, if I closed the sliding door hard enough for it to be fully seated. It's tough to do from the inside of the van. Wish it was motorized like on the mini-vans.

Indeed, having to slam the sliding door from the inside is annoying. Having to do it 4 times because you were trying to be quiet late in the evening is even worse!

The remote locks the doors just fine, and if you press a second time, will also sound the horn.

I had trouble with our sliding door too. I found that if we open a window somewhat the door closes easily. Our windows will be replaced as well because of the screen contour at the corners doesn't conform to the shape of the frame therefore there's gaps and of course who wants bugs in...lol

I have a 2014 travato.. love it .. and as wincrasher has stated the only grief about the travato comes from forum readers who don't own one.. There are certainly minor design flaws as in any RV and this is my third RV.
My horn doesn't sound when i lock the doors either, just the lights on the mirror flash. The whole door handle thing is an issue with the promaster. The dodge dealer where i had my first oil change (every single employee at the dealership couldn't wait for a tour) worked on the door and its a little better and they are going to order a new door handle for me.
I had a minor leak from the window frame on the side sliding door after a really terrible rain storm that caused major flooding and damage. The dealer told me that if it happens again we can explore the issue further.

Trovato electrical problems

I disconnected the electric lead at the parking brake handle and got a couple of seat belt extenders off ebay and all my electrical problems went away. Don't tell Winnebago.

Like most others have said, on my early model 2015 I have yet to figure out how to make the horn honk when locking the doors. Also, I have the problem with not being able to lock the doors with the key fob when the parking brake is on.

Is there any chance the LED system in the middle of the display will give a speed indication?. My other vehicles have digital indicators..
