Hi Mark,
I feel your pain so to speak, I bought a 05 Horizon 40AD New in March 0f 06, and it spent a total of approximately 7-8 months in somebody's repair shop or back at the factory (out of our possession). My frustration level was through the roof to say the least and I also work and own a business which made it even harder on my wife and I to deal with. I did file a Florida Lemon law aginst Winnebago and Freightliner to protect my interests just in case things went really sour. I was on the verge of getting the Lawyers involved and to my rescue came Bryan Funke from Winnebago and Harberson Swanson RV in Florida finally put things to rest. I haven't had a single problem with it since June of last year. Winnebago will stand behind it,contact Bryan, he was my saving grace when all else failed me.
One thing I did since the day I owned this coach was to keep a journal on Word in my Laptop. Everytime I did something with it, left it here or left it there,I noted the date I dropped it off, who (I dealt with, how long they kept it, what they did etc... I made a journal entry. I think I have twenty eight pages last time I looked, do not count on your memory. If I talked to somebody or e-mailed somebody or they e-mailed me I kept a log and a copy of e-mail im my outlook folder. Just keep track of everything that transpires just in case!!!!
Don't give up, things will get better. Good Luck, I wish you well! Contact me if you need more help,I'd be glad to be of assistance. Call Bryan Funke at Winnebago now! I have his phone number if you want it, E-mail me privately, I don't want to publish it
