4 3/4" tailpipe is hard to find

Greetings! Does anyone know where to get 4 3/4" tailpipe fabricated? 4" and 5" are no problem but I can't seem to find anyone who works with this odd ball size.

It will require less than 4' of pipe and two elbows and a good welder.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Well James,
This is one of those things that, if it were me, and I had even the least amount of trouble finding what I needed like you have, I'd purchase the 5" stuff, cut some slots in the end which, would allow for it to shrink down and clamp onto your existing tubing. Then, you'll have a more easily adaptive system. Yeah, you may have to get larger clamps and adaptive hangers but, you'll be done with it.

Thanks for your FD service and the advice. Some type of adaptation to 5" is definitely the route I'm headed. Your solution is elegant and doesn't require welding onto the muffler which is a big plus.

Thanks and take care,

James

James,
Thank you for your nice comment and, you're welcome on the advice. It's fun to fix things when it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
