A/C warm at idle and dash vent not working

Our 16 Newmar Ventana the dash air is warm at idle but cools down when moving. This just started the past few days. We are in south Florida where it is extremely hot so maybe that has something to do with it.

The other problem, which is unrelated, is the far right side dash vent has never worked. FL says this is a Newmar issue and we are going to Newmar next month but maybe someone here has some tip or trick we are missing.

There may be an electric fan on the A/C condenser , ( under the front behind the gen set on my coach ) that should run any time the compressor cycles to aid the system , and when your moving the air flow takes over.
These electric fans can fail , or pick up road debris and blow fuses, so check all the fuses and if they are ok , report this with your dash vent problem to Newmar.

Freightliner is correct , virtually everything above the frame rails is installed by Newmar.

Sometimes the connector will be corroded or fall apart if not correctly snapped together.
As for the air vent register not providing air, chances are that the factory never connect the distribution conduit tube to the fitting.

If you kneel down and listen behind the front wheel while the coach is running, you will hear the fan cycle on and off, if it is working. They are quite loud. Mine will actually blow some dust off a dirt road while I idle.

I have a leak.

Went to FL for a CE light and had them take a look since we didn't know if it was a FL or Newmar problem.

Turns out the leak is in the coach so off to Newmar we go.
