The left rear air bag doesn't seem to be coming up as it should. The motorhome has a definite lean to the left. Any suggestions?

Thanks, but where I bought it doesn't do warranty work on Freighliner Chassis as probably most dealers don't. And yes it is under Freightliner warranty...I was just looking to see if anyone else has had this problem and could possbly keep me from taking it to FL. I appreciate your input however.

Most likely an air leak and most likely in the lines feeding the bag(s) on the left side. One soft bag is enough to make it list considerable (trust me - I know!). Larger RV dealers, those who sell and service a lot of diesels, will fix air suspension leaks. Or a FL shop or most any truck service shop. They are all used to working on air systems and they would be working under the coach rather than inside it.

Or are you thinking of doing it yourself? If you have jack stands that can support a motorhome, it is not terribly difficult work to replace damaged air lines or valves.

Thanks Gary, but 30,000 pounds of bananas is still 30,000 lbs of bananas, if you get my meaning. I think I'll leave it to the pros. I appreciate your knowledge (experience) and your response to my post.

Jim,

I had a problem with rear air bag after a blow out. The tire took out the valve that refilled the bag when you stowed the jacks. I was told (can't remember who) that you should probably not drive very far with a deflated air bag. I know it'll ride rough because it'll have no suspension under that corner. Also, the drive train will be out of whack. I took mine to a truck repair shop to be fixed.
