I noticed something on the ground under the rear of my coach. It was the exhaust port cover/filter off one of the leveling valves on the rear suspension. It's a round rubber piece with a small fiber filter in it. The rubber is cracked and will not stay on if reinstalled. Freightliner told be that there are no parts available for this valve. Anyone know what might work in place of the original piece or another source for parts? Seems like it would not be good to run it the way it is. The brand is Meritor WABCO, 2004 vintage.

Why couldn't you just buy another piece of hose, put the filter in it and reinstall?

Looks like that's what people have been doing, making there own. Here's a link: Ride Height Valve Cover Replacement
I'm not sure how important these covers really are, they deterioate and fall off pretty easily, probably lot's missing without the owner ever knowing.

the valve's have seals in them. The filter is to keep sand and trash out. They will work without the filters' but i am sure they will last a lot longer with the filter installed.
