Antenna Up Icon

I thought I would throw this tidbit out. We have a 2014 Dutch Star on a Freightliner chassis. Last month we were driving through Utah when I noticed an icon on the Freightliner dash bar that looked like a "T". It didn't look familiar, so I pulled over and checked the Freightliner manual. I looked at all the dash icons and could not find this one. I looked at it again and it sure looked like an antenna.

I looked around and found that my wife had hit the power antenna button and partially raised the antenna. On our Dutch Star, the power antenna panel is right where the seat belts hit when you release them.

Since Freightliner didn't put this icon in the 2014 manual, I thought I would post in case someone sees it in their travels.

Good catch Don.
When I installed my Travler I paralleled the switch for the crank up antenna. Now I can leave two antennas up by accident.

"YC1".....I did that with my Monaco too. Stole the switch from the crank up. I wish I could do it with the new coach and get an antenna up switch on the Winegard sat. I'm guessing I could, just haven't been motivated enough to look.

I use a magnetic switch you would use on a door alarm. I glued a magnet taken from an old hard drive. They are extremely strong so reach out quite well to turn the switch on and off. The magnet is on the dish dome edge.
